Privacy policy

Clear information for car owners and workshops.

Last updated: 19 October 2026

Scope and contact

This notice describes how the current AutoJGR marketplace handles information when you browse, register, post a request or manage a repair. For privacy questions or requests, email safeerahmedqureshi@gmail.com.

Information used by the service

  • Account information: name, email, contact phone, account role and authentication identifiers.
  • Marketplace information: workshop profiles, city and neighbourhood, vehicle details, repair descriptions and uploaded photos.
  • Transaction information: quotations, appointments, booking status, private messages and reviews.
  • Operational information: login sessions, action records and notification records. Hosting and authentication services may also process connection information to operate and secure the service.

Passwords are handled by Supabase authentication; they are not stored in AutoJGR’s application user table.

What other people can see

Public repair summaries show the title, description, vehicle, category, city and neighbourhood. Do not put phone numbers, precise addresses, number plates or other sensitive details in these fields. Public workshop profiles and published reviews are also visible to visitors.

Repair photos are restricted to authorized participants and matching verified workshops under the application’s access rules. Booking contact information is available to the booked workshop, and booking conversations are restricted to participants. Authorized operations staff can access information necessary for their assigned platform duties.

Sample ads use fictional names and requests; they do not identify real customers.

Why information is processed

Information is used to authenticate accounts, match requests to workshops, present quotations, arrange and track bookings, support conversations and reviews, assist users and protect the marketplace against misuse.

Service providers and storage

Supabase provides authentication. Application records and photos are stored in the configured application database, while hosting providers serve the website and API. Provider locations depend on the deployment and project region; contact us for details about your deployment. We do not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics in the current website.

Essential browser storage keeps your login session available. See our cookies and local storage notice.

Retention, access and deletion requests

Account and marketplace records remain stored while needed to provide the service, manage bookings and resolve operational issues. Automatic account deletion and a fixed retention schedule are not currently implemented. Sign-out does not delete server records.

You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing safeerahmedqureshi@gmail.com. Include the email associated with your account and the nature of your request. We may need to verify ownership; some records may need to be retained for ongoing bookings, dispute handling or applicable obligations. We will explain any limits rather than promise immediate removal.

Security and changes

The application checks account roles and record access, and real logins are verified through Supabase. No online service can promise absolute security. Avoid uploading sensitive documents and report suspected account misuse promptly.

This notice may change as the service changes. The updated date above identifies the current version.
